  • Remember your preferences and form inputs
  • Analyze website traffic and usage patterns
  • Deliver targeted advertising
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns

Sale of Personal Information

ClearChoiceQuote operates as an insurance comparison and shopping platform that helps consumers compare auto insurance options from licensed insurance agents and carriers based on the consumer's own quote request. Under certain state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the disclosure of personal information to licensed insurance agents and carriers in exchange for valuable consideration may be considered a “sale.” When a consumer submits an insurance quote request, we may disclose the following categories of personal information to licensed insurance agents, agencies, and carriers in our partner network so they may prepare and provide quotes the consumer requested:

  • Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, IP address
  • Personal Information (Cal. Civ. Code 1798.80(e)): Name, address, telephone number, insurance-related information
  • Protected Classification Characteristics: Age, gender, marital status
  • Commercial Information: Insurance products of interest, coverage preferences
  • Internet or Network Activity: Browsing history, interactions with our website
  • Geolocation Data: ZIP code, approximate location via IP address

SMS/Text Message Data Exception (First-Party Only): Notwithstanding the above, the SMS messaging program operated by Clear Choice Quote LLC is a first-party customer-care channel that is structurally and operationally separate from the disclosures described in this section. Mobile phone numbers collected through our SMS messaging program and all SMS opt-in consent data are never sold, shared, transferred, or made available to any insurance carrier, agency, agent, affiliate, marketing network, partner, or any other third party for any purpose, including marketing, lead-matching, or list-building. SMS opt-in data is used exclusively by Clear Choice Quote LLC to send customer-care text messages directly to the consumer who personally opted in, regarding that consumer's own inquiry submitted through our Contact form. SMS opt-in is collected only on our Contact form at www.clearchoicequote.com/contact and is governed by a separate, dedicated, unchecked SMS consent checkbox.

Recipients of insurance quote-request information include licensed insurance agents, licensed insurance agencies, and licensed insurance carriers in our partner network. To opt out of the sale of your personal information, please visit our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or email us at [email protected].

Interest-Based Advertising

We participate in interest-based advertising, which means you may see ads for our services on other websites based on your browsing activity. We work with third-party advertising companies that collect information about your visits to our website and other sites to provide targeted advertisements.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting:

Tracking Technologies

In addition to cookies, we use the following tracking technologies on our website:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Collects anonymized usage data to help us understand website traffic and user behavior. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook): Tracks conversions from Facebook ads and enables targeted advertising. You can manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
  • Jornaya: Consent verification technology that documents your consent to be contacted. Jornaya places a cookie to record timestamps and consent-related data for TCPA compliance purposes.
  • TrustedForm: Independent consent certification service that captures a snapshot of the form and consent language at the time of your submission to verify compliance.

For more information about managing cookies and tracking technologies, please see our Cookie Policy.

Do Not Call List

ClearChoiceQuote maintains an internal Do Not Call (DNC) list. You will be added to our internal DNC list if you:

  • Text STOP in response to any text message from us
  • Request removal during a phone call with one of our representatives or AI voice agents
  • Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Do Not Call”

We also honor the National Do Not Call Registry. However, if you have provided your express written consent to be contacted, you may still receive calls from ClearChoiceQuote and parties calling on our behalf until you revoke that consent.

SMS / Text Messaging

No mobile information will be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data collected through Clear Choice Quote LLC's text messaging program are used exclusively by Clear Choice Quote LLC to send customer-care follow-up communications regarding the consumer's own inquiry submitted through our Contact form. SMS opt-in data is not shared, sold, or transferred to any insurance carrier, agency, agent, affiliate, or other third party for any purpose.

SMS opt-in is collected only on our Contact form at www.clearchoicequote.com/contact via an unchecked SMS-consent checkbox located directly above the “Send Message” button. The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be affirmatively checked by the consumer to opt in. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of any service, purchase, or quote. Message frequency: up to 4 messages per inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. For full SMS program details, see our SMS Terms & Conditions.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for specific periods based on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected:

  • Quote-request and inquiry submission data: 24 months from the date of collection, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized
  • Call recordings: 7 years, as required for compliance with telecommunications regulations and dispute resolution
  • Billing and financial records: 7 years, as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
  • Do Not Call list entries: Retained indefinitely to ensure ongoing compliance with your opt-out preferences
  • Consent records (TCPA/CCPA): 7 years from the date of consent to demonstrate compliance
  • Website usage data and cookies: Up to 26 months, consistent with analytics platform retention settings

When your information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we securely delete or anonymize it.
