As an insurance comparison and shopping platform, ClearChoiceQuoteprovides consumer quote-request information to licensed insurance carriers, agencies, and agents in our network in exchange for fees so they may prepare and provide a quote the consumer requested. This activity may constitute a “sale” under the CCPA and similar state privacy laws.

What Information Do We Sell?

We may sell or share the following categories of personal information with licensed insurance agents, agencies, and carriers:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address
  • Insurance Needs: Type of coverage requested, current insurance status, coverage preferences
  • Demographic Information: Age, gender, marital status, ZIP code
  • Property or Vehicle Information: Details provided in quote request forms

How to Opt Out

What Happens After You Opt Out

  • We will stop providing your personal information to new licensed insurance carriers, agencies, or agents in our network.
  • We may still use your information for our own internal purposes, such as improving our services, complying with legal obligations, and communicating with you about your existing requests.
  • Information already shared with partners prior to your opt-out request cannot be recalled, but those partners are bound by their own privacy obligations.
  • Your opt-out does not affect any insurance quotes or services you may have already requested.
